If you would like to complete the Environmental Law Certificate, first of all, we would kindly ask you to apply.

The application deadline for the winter semester is September 15^th of the year, and for the summer semester is March 15^th of the year. This deadline does not refer to the registration deadline for the individual courses , for which separate registration is required during the semester.

The application and admission procedure consists of three steps:

1. Fill out the form attached below.
2. Send the following documents, either in English or in German language, to: environmental-law-center(a)uni-koeln.de: 
   – Your CV
   – Your letter of motivation
   – A recent certificate of enrollment (“Immatrikulationsbescheinigung”)
   – Other documents that might be relevant to showing your interest in Environmental Law
3. After  successful application and admission, the individual courses and events can be chosen in collaboration and with the assistance of our team at the ELC.
